This is a hidden gem above the Medina La Terrasse Ben Youssef might look unsuspecting from the outside- I actually walked past it a few times without noticing. But on my last evening in Marrakech, I finally ventured in... and I’m so glad I did. Climbing to the rooftop, I was met with a breathtaking view over the old medina. The atmosphere was unexpectedly magical, traditional live music with oud and hand drum whule a warm breeze blew across the city. There was a moment when I could hear the adhan echoing across the rooftops, and the moonlight gently illuminating the old town below. The food was just as memorable: wholesome, flavourful, and generously portioned, all at half the price of nearby restaurants (my main was around 90 dirhams). The service was warm and welcoming, our waiter, Mustafa, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even more special. It was the perfect way to end my trip. A real hidden treasure- I only regret not venturing in sooner. Be sure not to miss it!

Couldn’t stay away! Excellent Moroccan food, wonderful service thanks to our server Moustafa accompanied by traditional music, whilst surrounded by an excellent terrace view. Could not ask for more. Will keep coming back!!
definitely go during sunset, so pretty! we had bad experience with 1 restaurant that overcharged us as tourists, so coming here was a relief & much needed. food was amazing, service was great, atmosphere during sunset was top notch. meat was cooked perfectly we even came twice during our stay at marrakech!
The view from the terrace is the most incredible view of Marrakech, the food is excellent and reasonably priced considering the quality, and the atmosphere and beautiful setting of the restaurant are the perfect environment to absorb the sights and sounds of the medina. The staff are also very welcoming, polite and friendly! We were so fortunate to have arrived just before the sunset and also to experience the call to prayer in surround sound, a magical experience. The terrace is a little bit cold on a windy night but this does not affect the experience, just hold on to your menu!
Wow. A hidden gem nestled within the busy lanes of the medina. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by friendly staff, who will escort you to your desired floor. The service was fantastic, the food well priced and delicious. The live music was a pleasant surprise. To experience first hand a talented musician play the Oud. We stayed for over two hours, happily content within this peaceful haven.
Really good atmosphere, one of the best in marrakesch. You can try traditional moroccan dishes with good price. However some spices are not familiar and difficult to eat.
